The Sockeye are getting bigger already, which is a good sign for things to come….with more than a million on the way between now and early August. This one hit on about flip #100, and I had a chance to share the fight with a couple young fishermen from the Northwest on their first trip to Kenai River. They’re hooked on Alaska now for sure after feeling the power of this fish on the line. They enjoyed a quick taste too, and even the boy who doesn’t really like fish gave his seal of approval. S’more to come in the future for sure. Thanks for being part of the Alaska Dream.
