Guests from Argentina – Mexico – Alaska arrived with high hopes, eager to catch some Silver Salmon! All set and ready to go with rental poles rigged custom for the Kenai, if they had only remembered to bring their fishing licenses, it would have been a flawless start :).  No worries though, a quick chat with Ranger Tom, and a quick trip to the nearest store to buy a duplicate license, and they were rockin’ and rollin’ on our dock — chasing Silvers with the “Silver Detetector” our #1 secret weapon and giving a go for trout with eggs and late runnin’ Sockeye with our “Salmon Stryker” flies that have proven themselves as a go-to with their unique krill design that Sockeye can’t resist striking!  Check out the photos for a sampling of the Silver, Red, and Pink salmon this sweet family of 5 + Grandma enjoyed catching off our shore and dock in early August!
