The Kern family of Chattanooga, TN soon to be Wichita Falls, TX enjoyed another sunny day on the Kenai River with some fun fishing moments. Yesterday it was the Papa who caught the first Sockeye, then his young son 7 year old got to fight a Dolly Varden, followed shortly by lil sis of 3 catching her first Sockeye (albeit with a little help from a pro).  But today the special moment was reserved at last for the Mama. She stuck with it long enough and finally got her fish to fight and it looks like it was worth the wait. These are the moments of family fishin’ fun we specialize in here at our family run resort. This is exactly why we do what we do. Dinner of blackened redfish with a King Salmon sashimi appetizer and all is well in the fishing universe. Good night from the Kenai River!
