I can tell the Sockeye are here for sure when we’re eating salmon at least twice a day and I hit my limit 2 days in a row as well! Three fish is the limit right now, and I hope Fish & Game keeps it at three, that’s more than fair to the fishermen, and fairly safe for the fish–which is the most important thing after all. I caught 2 big bucks and a hen…didn’t get photos of all because things are starting to spin fast, but this one was the last & best–hats off to TJ for putting it in the net after several strong runs, jumps and splashes. Up till midnight, days are packed, and so are the fish–vacuum packed that is! Nice to see the winter cache of wild Alaska salmon growing daily. Much more fishing to come, but I sure like these early fish the best. Feast your eyes and see you on the Riverfront soon! P.S. Our new Kenai Riverfront Resort fishing hats are available at the Snack & Tack here at the resort!
Limit 3, Day Two!
