Chris Face, like younger brother Dylan, didn’t take long to learn how to catch wild Alaskan Salmon here at our resort on the Kenai River….and good thing too, because his Mom LOVES fresh wild salmon!!!  Whether it’s raw sashimi style, caviar salmon eggs, grilled salmon fillets, pan fried trout, or perhaps most of all smoked salmon, Chris’ Mom, Elena, LOVES ALASKA Salmon and I think she loves ALASKA too in every way!  We couldn’t be happier guests like this…traveling from Florida, but with Russian heritage that she has obviously shared beautifully with her children, the entire Face family has been a delight in our camp and on our shore.  4 beautiful sockeye salmon, 1 dolly varden, and 1 rainbow trout.  Every piece of fish harvested and enjoyed fully as it should be.  Chris’ 1st salmon was a real prize…a huge buck (male) and a 2nd big sockeye on day 2 right after tying on a new fly.  The photos speak for themselves!
